Checkout and cart
Discounts not applying, cart drawer failing, shipping rates displaying wrong, quantity rules misbehaving.
Checkout misbehaving, a section rendering wrong, an app conflict nobody can explain. We diagnose it, fix it, and tell you what caused it so it doesn’t come back.
In our experience the majority of Shopify issues reported as bugs fall into three buckets, and only one of them is a genuine coding fault.
The distinction matters because the fix is different in each case, and so is the cost. Patching a symptom when the cause is an app conflict means the same issue returns next month.
Discounts not applying, cart drawer failing, shipping rates displaying wrong, quantity rules misbehaving.
Sections breaking on mobile, images stretching, spacing collapsing after a theme update, elements overlapping on specific devices.
Variants not switching, images not updating with selection, sold-out states showing incorrectly, swatches out of sync.
Two apps fighting over the same element, an app slowing every page, or one that broke after an update and was never fixed.
Feeds failing, tracking not firing, webhooks silently dropping, data not reaching your ERP or CRM.
JavaScript errors that don’t visibly break anything yet, but will — and that suppress tracking in the meantime.
Send the URL, what you expected, what happened, and on what device or browser. Screenshots or a screen recording help more than anything.
We reproduce it and find the cause — not just the symptom. You get told which of the three buckets above it falls into.
One price for the fix, agreed before we start. If the diagnosis shows it’s an app you could simply remove, we’ll tell you that instead.
Work happens on a copy of your theme, never the live one.
Nothing goes live until you’ve seen it working.
A short plain-English explanation of what caused it, so you can avoid repeating it.
If your store changes often — new apps, seasonal campaigns, frequent theme edits — a monthly arrangement usually costs less than fixing things one at a time, because we catch problems before they reach customers.
A retainer typically covers: theme and app update monitoring, a monthly check of console errors and broken links, small edits and fixes within an agreed allowance, and priority response when something breaks during a launch or a sale.
You probably don’t need a retainer if your store is stable, you rarely change it, and you don’t run high-stakes sale periods. Pay per fix instead.
It depends on the issue and our current load, which we’ll tell you honestly rather than promising a turnaround we can’t hold. Send it through with ‘urgent’ in the message and we’ll come back with a realistic window, not a sales answer.
A fixed price per issue, quoted after diagnosis. If the diagnosis reveals the fix is trivial, the quote reflects that.
Tell us the problem and we’ll tell you what’s involved. We’re not going to rebuild your store to answer a question about a broken cart drawer.
Yes. Most of what we fix was built by someone else. We don’t require you to have used us before, and we won’t push a rebuild when a fix will do.
We tell you, and your options: remove it, replace it, or work around it in code. Working around a badly-behaved app is possible but it’s the most expensive of the three, so we’d rather you knew that up front.
No. We need collaborator access to diagnose properly. You can revoke it the moment the work is done.
Send the URL, what you expected, and what actually happened. We’ll come back with a cause and a fixed price.
